Scalp detox is a process of removing impurities and toxins from the scalp. It helps to remove excess oil, dirt, product build-up, and other debris that can clog pores and lead to scalp irritation. This process can help improve the health of your scalp by promoting the growth of healthy hair follicles. Scalp detox can also help reduce dandruff, flaking, itching, and other scalp problems incluing oily scalp issues. It is an important part of any hair care routine as it helps keep your scalp clean and healthy.
A scalp detox is a great way to remove build-up, dirt, and other impurities from your scalp. It can also help to reduce inflammation and improve the health of your scalp. To achieve this, it’s important to use the right ingredients that are specifically designed for this purpose.
Some of the most popular ingredients used in a scalp detox are apple thymus vulgaris or thyme herb ivy burdock herbs, tea tree oil, baking soda, tea tree oil, aloe vera gel, coconut oil, and various essential oils. These ingredients work together to remove build-up from the scalp while also providing nourishment and hydration. They can help soothe irritation and reduce inflammation while promoting healthy hair growth.
Probably the most important ingredient is called zinc pca which is a natural anti fungal and also natural anti bacterial agent when applied toically.
In our salon we have a lot of varied customers incluing men and women of all ages and all nationalities but the hair problems are typically very straight forward. Almost every problem that we see has one common theme - the HAIR ROOTS ARE CLOGGED!
We don't mean just a little bit clogged. They are coated with yellow hardened sebum which has attracted dirt, bacteria, fungus and acts like a petri dish for bacteria and fungus and more to grow in once it becomes clogged.
Our solution is to use Zincplex Shampoo. We almos always use the Zicplex Exa Strength and have the customer take a bottle home to use over the next 30 days. A hair sample is then taken again and the root looked at. The difference is obvious to the naked eye when shown to the client.
The black that is shown is under the hair line. This is why the majority of the hair care products and treatments on the market do not work for intense itching scratching, hair fall, thinning, fungus and bacteria issues. The hair follicle must be cleansed, irrigated and purified. This is why Hair Products like Zincplex set themselves apart from the traditional seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, thinning hair care products on the market.
Untreated fungus and bacteria that builds inside and around the hair follicle an lead to scalp sores and scabs, intense itching, overly oily scalp, waxy buildup in the hair and on the scalp, white scalp gunk or junk, yellow dandruff which is yellow because of the golden hue of th sebum, hot spots or redness, swelling, raised skin and more.
These same issues can occur with beards. Beard dandruff and itching, flaking etc.
